"""Monte Carlo pi: points raining into a cube, counted against an eighth of a sphere.
The flat version throws darts at a square and counts the ones inside a
quarter circle. This is the same idea one dimension up: a unit cube with an
eighth of the unit sphere standing in one corner. The sphere's octant fills
pi / 6 of the cube, so six times the share of points that land inside it
estimates pi, and the cloud of points is something you can walk round.
The sphere is centred on the cube's near lower corner, so from the default
view the dome curves away from the camera and its edge reads as a clean
silhouette against the outside points behind it. Seen dome-first, the two
colours overlap all the way down and the shape is lost in the speckle.
Points come in batches. Each batch lands in the accent, then splits into
inside and outside. Everything is drawn from one seed up front, so the
running estimate in the loop ends on the one in the still.
The full Manim source and the rendered video come with a plan.
